Lourdes Rueda

Lourdes Rueda is an accomplished Senior Principal Scientist at Recursion, where since November 2019, expertise has been applied in medicinal chemistry, focusing on small molecule design, synthesis, and the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence in drug discovery. Prior experience at GSK spanned from November 2002 to October 2019, during which Lourdes Rueda held various roles in medicinal chemistry, contributing to the management of research in areas including epigenetics, oncology, and infectious diseases. Academic credentials include a BSc and MSc in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry from Universidad de Zaragoza, alongside advanced studies at institutions such as Université Paul Sabatier and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, culminating in a PhD candidate status in Bioorganic and Organic Chemistry from UNED.
