Armin Aligholian

Armin Aligholian is an accomplished Data Scientist at Recurve since June 2022, leading the research and development of an open-source project focused on smart meter hourly measurement and verification, as well as an electric vehicle detection project utilizing deep learning techniques. Prior to this role, Armin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside from January 2018 to June 2022, where significant contributions included developing advanced machine learning models for spatio-temporal representation learning and anomaly detection in micro-PMU data. Armin's experience also encompasses internships at Quanta Technology, LLC, ETAP - Operation Technology, Inc., and an early career as a co-founder of Mizerv, alongside consulting roles and an internship with the Iranian Power Development Organization. Armin holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, a Master’s Degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's Degree in Renewable Energy from Amirkabir University of Technology.
