Iván González Cancela

Iván González Cancela has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Iván is the founding partner and CEO of Recycl3R, a provider of information services through recycling. Iván founded and served as a partner for Lmental Sostenibilitat i Futur. Iván also held leadership positions at Unió de Cooperatives de Treball Associat de les Illes Balears (UCTAIB) as the Vice President and Chair of the Board. Additionally, they were part of the coordinating committee at Red de Abogados para la Defensa Ambiental (RADA). Iván worked as an environmental legal consultant at Ajuntament De Palma and as a consultant at Site5, Consultoría de Gestión, where they were involved in implementing quality, environment, and production control management systems. Iván also gained experience as an intern at Centre de Recerca Econòmica (UIB - Sa Nostra). In 2015, Ivan took on the role of Chair of the board for the Commission on Sustainable Development and Environment at Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales (CEOE).

Iván González Cancela completed their Bachelor's degree in Law at Universitat de les Illes Balears from 1996 to 2002. Iván then pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and Public Management at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2002 to 2003. Following that, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental Education and Globalization from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. between 2003 and 2004.
