Recycle BC
Colleen McKee is an experienced communications and marketing professional currently serving as the Communications and Marketing Manager for the City of Saskatoon since April 2014. Prior experience includes roles as Marketing Manager at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, where responsibilities included website development, branding, and media relations, as well as Marketing Coordinator, focusing on social media management and content creation. Colleen co-owned the Blakey School of Irish Dance in Invermere, instructing children in Irish dance, and previously worked as Homeowner Experience Manager at Panorama Mountain Village, managing a rental program for over 300 condo owners. Early career roles included Sales Representative at Market Linc and Marketing Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan. Colleen holds a Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Saskatchewan and has furthered studies at Jönköping University and Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

Recycle BC is a not-for-profit organization responsible for residential packaging and paper recycling throughout British Columbia, servicing over 1.8 million households. Recycle BC ensures residential household materials are collected, sorted, and responsibly recycled. Our program is funded by over 1,200 businesses that include retailers, manufacturers and restaurants that supply packaging and printed paper to the BC residents, shifting costs away from homeowners. Recycle BC originally launched as Multi-Material BC in 2014.
