Sun-min Ahn

Sun-min Ahn has a diverse work experience in the waste management and recycling industry. They started their career in 2014 as an Office Coordinator at EcoZero, where they managed projects, processed requests, and prepared reports. In 2014, they also worked as an Operations Specialist at Waste Management, coordinating daily operations and reconciling invoices. They then joined RecycleSmart™ in 2016, initially working as an Operations Coordinator, where they provided customer service, resolved issues, and assisted with billing. Later, they became a Sales and Project Manager, leading sales efforts and managing projects. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Data Operations Manager, overseeing data coordination and customer onboarding. Their most recent position is Manager, Product Development at Recycle Track Systems, where they started in 2023 and currently hold the role.

Sun-min Ahn completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science at The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2014. They then pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Sun-min Ahn obtained various certifications, including Applied Project Management, Certificate in Project Management, Agile Project Management, Structured Project Management, Leading from the Middle, and Project Management Fundamentals from UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies between February and June 2022. They also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in October 2020.
