Francisco Silvério has been working in the software engineering field since 2013. Francisco started as a Junior Electrical and Computer Engineer at NDT Consultadoria e Serviços (part-time job) and then became a Summer Intern - Software Developer at Siemens. In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer in the Neuroscience Division at the Champalimaud Foundation – Centre for the Unknown, where they developed a Master's Thesis titled "Automatic System for Zebrafish Counting in Fish Facility Tanks". This project aimed to count the number of fish in aquariums automatically and noninvasively, using artificial vision techniques. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer and Junior Software Engineer at M2A Media Ltd. Currently, Francisco Silvério is a Senior Software Engineer at Recycleye.
Francisco Silvério obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2016. Francisco also holds two certifications: a German Course Level A2.2 from Language Craft obtained in October 2013, and a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge obtained in September 2005.
