Steven Daris

Steven holds a BA in Accounting and Business and has worked for leading finance companies including Smith Barney, BISYS, Safeco, General Industries, and Security Benefits. His career in computers and networking began in 1985 when he founded a computer consulting and network setup company while continuing his college studies. Just one year later, Steven became one of the nation’s youngest computer retail executives serving as VP of Sales and Marketing for an east-coast computer chain

His career evolved as Director of Business for a retail computer chain focused on educational and consumer markets and later advanced into roles as a financial analyst, tax accountant, and corporate controller.

In 2005 he co-founded Red Apple Media (www.redapplemedia.com) to develop DRM, media streaming technology, and software tools for encoding.
