Jazlyn Olmedo

Jazlyn Olmedo, M.S. has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior People Services Leader at Red Aspen. In this role, they collaborate with the CEO to lead a group of women in initiating conversations, ideating on inclusive programs, and collaborating on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Jazlyn served as the Inclusion Council Chairwoman at Red Aspen, where their main responsibility was to develop programs, products, and guidance that reflect the beauty diversity of communities. Jazlyn also worked as a People Services Leader at the same company.

Jazlyn's academic background includes working as a Graduate Assistant at Boise State University, where they conducted research and collaborations focused on diversity in STEM and college-to-profession transitions.

Additionally, Jazlyn gained experience as a Brand Ambassador at the Boise State Bronco Shop, where they raised brand awareness and increased sales through various marketing campaigns. Jazlyn effectively showcased brand spirit on social media, specifically Instagram.

Jazlyn also worked at Boise State University, initially as a Resident Assistant, where they managed and oversaw the safety and wellbeing of over 50 residents. Jazlyn was involved in conflict resolution, event planning, and incident responding. Jazlyn also served as a Front Desk Assistant and a Guest Service Representative.

Prior to their university roles, Jazlyn worked as a Sales and Support Generalist at Victoria's Secret, where they provided excellent customer service, made product recommendations, and resolved complaints. Jazlyn also served as a Cashier Supervisor for two holiday seasons.

Lastly, Jazlyn was the Director of Academic Achievement at Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, where they created and managed the study hours program for the entire organization and mentored women who needed academic support. Jazlyn also presented academic workshops and presentations.

Jazlyn Olmedo, M.S. completed their Master's degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University. Jazlyn pursued this degree from 2020 to 2023.

Prior to their Master's degree, Jazlyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Boise State University in the field of Human Resources Management and Services. Jazlyn completed their undergraduate studies from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Jazlyn obtained certifications in Administrative Human Resources from LinkedIn in June 2021 and in Social & Behavioral Researchers from CITI Program in August 2020.
