Carsten Strandlod

Carsten Strandlod currently serves as the Head of International Partnerships & Donor Compliance at Red Barnet since June 2025. Prior to this role, Strandlod worked at Røde Kors as a Senior Partnership Advisor focusing on Foundations & the Private Sector from June 2023 to June 2025. Strandlod has extensive experience in partnership and resource mobilization roles, including as Head of Global Partnerships, Advocacy, and Communications at the IFRC Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support from March 2021 to October 2023, and various leadership positions at Red Barnet from March 2016 to March 2021. Earlier in the career, Strandlod was a Senior Donor Liaison Delegate at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies from April 2015 to February 2016 and held the position of Head of Section Major Donor Partnerships at Save the Children from January 2012 to March 2015.
