Richard Kydd

Richard Kydd is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the media and broadcasting sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Red Bee Media since January 2022, Kydd has held significant roles including Technical Consultant at Racecourse Technical Services Ltd, and Vice President of Engineering and International Technical Operations at NBC Universal, where responsibilities included overseeing technology implementation and operational efficiency for over 60 international channels. Prior experience includes Managing Consultant at Siemens, Head of Set Top Box Engineering at Aggregator, Director of TV Technology at ntl, and Chief Technology Officer at Two Way TV, where Kydd developed interactive TV technologies and holds multiple patents. Kydd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King's College London.
