Sue Mudd Rhit

Sue Mudd RHIT has extensive work experience in health information management and information technology roles. Sue currently serves as the Director of Health Information Management, Privacy Officer, and Director of CBO at Red Bud Regional Hospital since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Divurgent from 2016 to 2017. Sue also served as the Information Technology Manager at Centene Corporation from 2015 to 2016. Sue Mudd's earlier roles include being the Director of Acquisitions, Information Technology, and Project Management at Sisters of Mercy Health System from 2011 to 2014, and the Director of Information Technology at the same organization from 2004 to 2011. Before that, they worked as the Lead Business Systems Analyst at St. John's Mercy Health Care from 2000 to 2004, and as the Manager of Health Information Management at St. Luke's Hospital (part of Mercy, known as Unity) from 1999 to 2000. Sue Mudd's career also includes serving as the Assistant Director of Health Information Management at Alexian Brothers Hospital (part of Mercy, known as Unity) from 1981 to 1999, and as a Credentialed Coder at the same organization from 1981 to 1982.

Sue Mudd RHIT has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Business Administration from Kennedy Western University. Sue also has an Associate's Degree in Registered Health Information Technician from Belleville Area College. Sue has additional certifications in Health Information Management from AHIMA and EpicCare Ambulatory. Sue also has a certification in ITIL.
