Brian Donohue

Brian Donohue has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and threat intelligence. Brian started their career as a journalist at Threatpost.com in 2010, where they reported on cybersecurity and privacy topics. In 2015, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. Brian worked in this role until 2017 when they moved to MKACyber as a Content Manager and Threat Intelligence Lead. From 2016 to 2018, they also contributed as a reporter to the Risky Business Podcast. Currently, since 2018, Brian Donohue serves as a Principal Security Specialist at Red Canary, where they are involved in research, content publication, and the production of the Red Canary Threat Detection report.

Brian Donohue attended the University of Mary Washington from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing and Literature.
