MacKenzie Foss

Mackenzie Foss is an accomplished product manager at Red Canary since February 2022, responsible for aligning product strategy with business goals and enhancing customer impact through proactive roadmap management. Previously, Mackenzie served as a Detection Engineer, focusing on improving detection coverage and developing automated detectors. Prior experience includes a role as a Security Engineer at Gordon Food Service, where Mackenzie matured detection and response capabilities while supporting various security technologies. Earlier positions include an Information Security Intern at Spectrum Health, a Scrum Master/Agile Intern in the same organization, and customer technology support roles, showcasing a solid foundation in both technical security and project management. Mackenzie holds multiple certifications from the SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Grand Valley State University.
