Michael Talsma

Michael Talsma is a Detection Engineer at Red Canary, with experience that includes a Skillbridge Internship as a Detection Engineer at U.S. Cyber Command. Prior roles include serving as an Instructor in Host Analysis, where training focused on adversarial TTPs, EDR and SIEM utilization, and host log analysis. Michael's background also features a position as a Senior Cyber Threat Hunter in the United States Air Force, along with roles as an Information Technology Supervisor and Specialist. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
