John Hong

John Hong has over 10 years of work experience. John began their career in 2008 as a Logistics Technician for the United States Air Force, where they processed urgent aircraft parts using the Air Force logistics database, served as the primary point of contact for the aircraft parts disposal program, and ensured federal regulations were met with customers of all ranks. In 2018, they joined Red Cedar Consultancy, LLC as a Jr. Systems Engineer, where they upgraded user systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10 while retaining sensitive data and certificates, provided support to system users, and produced daily, weekly, and monthly reports using SolarWinds and Riverbed SteelCentral Controller enterprise network management systems.

John Hong attended Northern Virginia Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. John then attended George Mason University's School of Business from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. In May 2019, they obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
