Robert L Cook

Robert L Cook has over 28 years of professional experience in the tech industry. Robert L began their career in 1993 as the Owner of Sun Remarketing, where they grew the business to 400k customers in 40 countries with $100 million in total sales. In 2005, they took on the role of World Wide Sales Manager of Apple computers at Cherokee Data, where they established marketing strategies for worldwide used Macintosh computer sales for a $20 million per year retailer of refurbished hard disk drives and computer systems. Robert L then moved to Icon Health and Fitness in 2007, where they served as the iFit Sr Ruby on Rails Project Manager and was responsible for creating a worldwide development and marketing strategy for iFit virtual exercise coaching. Robert L then moved to Harris Research Inc in 2013, where they held the role of Sr Ruby on Rails Developer and was responsible for overseeing all global call center operations for a $30 million/year business. In 2014, they took on the role of Websites Projects Manager and Web Project Manager at StoryItR8, a programming/development company. Robert L then moved to Knight Point Systems, LLC in 2016, where they served as a Ruby on Rails Web Developer. Robert L then moved to Peraton in the same year, where they held the roles of Ruby on Rails Developer and Team Lead. In 2019, they joined Perspecta as a Team Lead and in 2022, they joined Red Cedar Consultancy, LLC as a Development Team Lead.

Robert L Cook attended Utah State University, where they studied Marketing and started their first business during their senior year. In 1989, they obtained a Steven R Covey Trainer Certification from Covey & Associates. In 2017, they obtained both a Certified ScrumMaster and a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance. Robert L also holds an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert.
