Ed Kim

Ed Kim is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Red Dog Capital. Prior to founding Red Dog Capital, Ed worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in the Public Sector Healthcare and Higher Education group from January 2010 to December 2014. In this role, Ed worked with clients on strategic growth initiatives, financial planning and analysis, key performance indicator assessment, benchmarking, risk mitigation, and investor relations. Ed also initiated, advised and executed on strategic financings and M&A transactions totaling over $4 billion in the health system and university sectors.

Before their time at Goldman Sachs, Ed was the Director of Volunteer Services and Corporate Sponsorships at Habitat for Humanity San Francisco from January 2002 to December 2004. In this role, Ed managed corporate partnerships and volunteer programs that helped support Habitat for Humanity's mission of providing affordable housing to low-income families.

Ed began their career as a Director of Corporate Development for multiple early stage companies from January 1999 to December 2001. In this role, Ed was responsible for developing and executing the corporate strategy for the company.

Ed has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.

Ed Kim attended Stanford University where they earned their AB in Economics and Political Science. Ed then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Yale School of Management.
