Brigitte Pentecost is a senior associate at Red Fan Communications, where she supports integrated communications campaigns across media relations, analyst relations, corporate communications, executive positioning and thought leadership. With the bulk of her professional experience in philanthropy, education and retail, Brigitte brings fresh critical thinking and strategy to Red Fan’s B2B client roster. A Longhorn by trade and lifestyle, Brigitte was the communications director for the fundraising arm of The University of Texas’ athletic department. In this role, she was responsible for leading philanthropic communications strategies and initiatives, developing executive messaging and supporting donor events and premium hospitality areas on game days. She cut her teeth in PR as the sole owner and operator of a small women’s swim retail boutique in Austin, where she developed a deep understanding of building strong brand identities and engaging storytelling in a new marketplace. Her intuition for brand positioning and business strategy is well-served by her love of rhetoric and writing, which she taught at Huston-Tillotson University and St. Edward’s University.
