Alfred Lomahquahu

Alfred Lomahquahu born in Keams Canyon, Arizona. He currently lives in the village of Bacavi on the Hopi reservation. After attending primary school on Hopi and Sherman Indian High School in Riverside California, he enlisted in the Marines and was given the Military Occupation Specialty (1345) Engineer, Heavy Equipment Operator. He served 6 years active, 2 years reserve. He then continued his passion for public service as the Governor for the village of Bacavi, and Vice Chairman of the Hopi Tribe. His other various titles include: Cancer Educator for NAU, Artist, Commander of the American Legion Lori Piestewa Post 80 and Consultant for Hopi Tribal Housing Authority.
