Vice President, Product at Red Foundry

Sarah M. has a wealth of experience in product architecture, product management, and software engineering. Sarah began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Sensor Switch, where they built VB.NET-based websites and maintained a consistent company image. From 2009-2013, Sarah worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, conducting research in the area of hearing impairments and driving behavior and human-computer interaction, and instructing a laboratory section of an upper level statistics class for psychology majors. In 2013, Sarah worked as a Statistical Consultant at Imimtek, Inc., where they guided user study research design and trained the primary user researcher in statistical data analysis techniques in R. In 2014, Sarah began working at the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY) as an Instructor Supervisor. During their time there, they created and drove a multi-month project plan to capture instructor and student feedback in order to revise content, and directly managed ten instructors. In 2020, Sarah took on an Adjunct Professor role in Management and Marketing at Eastern Connecticut State University, where they taught BUS 205 “Information Management.” Most recently, Sarah joined Red Foundry in 2022 as Vice President of Product.

Sarah M. completed their Master of Science (MS) in Cognitive Psychology at UCSC between 2009 and 2011. Sarah has obtained several certifications since then, including a Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) from Scrum.org in December 2021, Fundamentals from Sumo Logic in November 2021, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in December 2020, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum.org.
