Katie Hale

Katie Hale is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in children's publishing and freelance editing. Currently serving as a Senior Production Editor at Red Line Editorial since January 2019, Katie is responsible for writing, editing, designing, and producing K–12 school library nonfiction books, ensuring adherence to client specifications, style guides, and educational standards. Previous roles include substantive editor for various titles at Familius, along with experience as a Sales Associate at Von Maur and editorial intern positions at Ice Cube Press LLC and Familius. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Writing Emphasis and French from Luther College, complemented by international educational experiences.
