Ariele Pieters

Ariele Pieters is an experienced outdoor professional with a strong background in skiing and avalanche safety. Currently serving as a Tail Guide at Big Red Cats Cat Skiing and Riding since November 2021 and as Ski Patrol at RED Mountain Resort since December 2020, Ariele has developed expertise in guiding and safety operations. Past roles include Avalanche Technician at Alpine Solutions Avalanche Services and a Tail Guide/Heliskiing Guide Practicum with Viking Heli Ski. Additional experience includes owning Backcountry Bagels and teaching skiing at multiple resorts, as well as working in tree planting and outdoor retail. Ariele is pursuing professional counseling education at Kelowna College of Professional Counselling as of April 2024.
