Kevin Millar

Kevin Millar's work experience includes:

- Currently, Kevin is working as the Senior Vice President of Creative & Medical Science at Red Nucleus since April 2022.

- From September 2016 to April 2022, Kevin served as the Senior Vice President of Creative and Medical Science at INVIVO Communications. Their responsibilities included developing creative concepts, assisting client services and business development teams, and staying updated on emerging technology trends.

- From September 2011 to September 2016, Kevin worked as the Vice President of Production & Operations at INVIVO Communications. Kevin managed various teams and departments, including User Experience, Medical/Editorial Content, Graphic Design, Development, Quality Assurance, Medical Animation, IT, and Operations.

- Kevin held the position of Senior Director of Medical Animation at INVIVO Communications from January 2008 to September 2011. Kevin oversaw the creation direction and operation of the Medical Animation and Illustration department and provided scientific consulting and reference for the animation team.

- From November 2004 to January 2008, Kevin served as the Medical Art Director at INVIVO Communications. Kevin led a team of Medical Animators, ensured accuracy of medical content, and participated in client calls.

- Kevin started their career as a Senior Medical Illustrator/3D Animator at INVIVO Communications in December 1999 and worked until October 2004. Kevin developed medical illustrations and animations, provided support to other team members, and served as a medical content expert.

- Additionally, Kevin worked as a Course Instructor for the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) at Kaplan Higher Education from May 1999 to April 2000. Kevin taught various subjects included in the DAT curriculum.

- From April 1999 to March 2000, Kevin worked at the University of Toronto in the Department of Anatomy: Educational Computing. Kevin was responsible for interface design, illustrations, and animations in the development of an interactive reference atlas called Functional Neuroanatomy.

- Kevin completed two microbiology internships with Kimberly-Clark's Surgical Supply and Sterilization departments from May 1996 to September 1997. Their work involved designing testing protocols to study microbial contamination after surgical equipment sterilization.

Kevin Millar completed their education in a chronological order. Kevin first attended McMaster University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Biochemistry. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Toronto from 1997 to 1999, graduating with a Master of Science in Biomedical Communications.

In addition to their degrees, Kevin also achieved certification as a Medical Illustrator through the Association of Medical Illustrators in July 2007.
