Leksa Nall

Leksa Nall has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2006 as a Metcalf Fellow for Exhibit Design at the Museum of Science and Industry, they gained experience in designing and testing exhibits related to the human body. Leksa then worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania, where they focused on understanding the genetic and molecular causes of neuropsychiatric diseases. In 2009, they became a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, specializing in sleep research using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. After completing their PhD in 2014, Leksa Nall joined ArticulateScience as a Medical Writer and eventually progressed to the role of Associate Scientific Director. In 2018, they joined PPM Advisory Group as the Senior Vice President of Scientific Services and later became the Chief Medical Officer. Most recently, in 2022, Leksa Nall assumed the position of President of Medical Communications at Red Nucleus.

Leksa Nall started their education journey in 2003 at the University of Chicago, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Visual Arts. Leksa completed this program in 2007. Leksa then went on to enroll at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Leksa successfully completed their doctoral studies in 2014.

In addition to their academic degrees, Leksa Nall obtained a certification in the Management Development Program from Wharton Executive Education in May 2023.
