Brooke Beans is a dedicated professional in the mental health field, currently serving as a Mental Health Specialist Intern at Red Oak Behavioral Health since July 2021. Brooke's experience includes a role as a Student Assistant at The University of Akron's ZipAssist program since February 2020, as well as prior positions in customer service at Mohican Lodge and Conference Center and Mohican Reservation, Inc. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from The University of Akron, earned between 2018 and 2022, and graduated from Loudonville High School in 2018.

Red Oak Behavioral Health is an accredited non-profit organization that has served the people of Greater Akron since 1963. Its mission is to change lives by partnering with the community and those in need of behavioral health services. Red Oak Behavioral Health has nearly 80 licensed clinicians and 45 case managers. The agency serves approximately 4,000 children and adults living with mental health disorders every year. Accredited by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and COA, Red Oak has become part of the fabric of social services and community behavioral health agencies in the Greater Akron area.
