Celeste Tannenbaum is an experienced professional currently serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator and iC.A.R.E. Mentoring Recruitment Coordinator at Red Oak Behavioral Health, where responsibilities include designing strategies for volunteer recruitment and coaching mentors for school-aged students. As a co-owner of Tannenbaum Wild Foods, Celeste produces and sells wild-crafted ingredients, while maintaining an online storefront and providing customer service. Previous roles include a Temporary Assistant at the Disability & Philanthropy Forum, a Lead Teacher at The Centers for Families and Children, and diverse teaching positions at various educational institutions. Its mission is to change lives by partnering with the community and those in need of behavioral health services. Red Oak Behavioral Health has nearly 80 licensed clinicians and 45 case managers. The agency serves approximately 4,000 children and adults living with mental health disorders every year. Accredited by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and COA, Red Oak has become part of the fabric of social services and community behavioral health agencies in the Greater Akron area.
