Katy Durr, LPCC, currently serves as the Early Childhood Program Coordinator at Red Oak Behavioral Health since September 2020, where responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and evaluating early childhood prevention and intervention programs. Prior experience includes positions as a School Based Mental Health Therapist at Child Guidance & Family Solutions, various roles at Total Education Solutions, including Early Childhood Community-based Therapist and Early Childhood Consultant, and experience as an ABA Therapist and Teachers Aide at Friendship Circle of Cleveland Inc. Additionally, Katy Durr worked as a Support Worker at Family & Community Services, Inc., and served as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force from May 2009 to May 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University.

Its mission is to change lives by partnering with the community and those in need of behavioral health services. Red Oak Behavioral Health has nearly 80 licensed clinicians and 45 case managers. The agency serves approximately 4,000 children and adults living with mental health disorders every year. Accredited by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and COA, Red Oak has become part of the fabric of social services and community behavioral health agencies in the Greater Akron area.
