Teresa Simpson

Teresa Simpson, CPA, CIA, serves as the Director of Accounting for Red Oak ISD since June 2017, a position held concurrently with a similar role at Red Oak Independent School District. Previously, Teresa held positions such as Internal Auditor at Mesquite Independent School District from October 2012 to June 2017, Accounting Manager at Rockwall ISD from September 2010 to October 2012, and Senior Associate II at Weaver from August 2004 to September 2010. Earlier career experiences include working as an Office Manager at Perkins + Will from 1995 to 1998, where management of a construction site office for a large project took place, along with overseeing a small office in Pasadena. Educational background includes a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington, obtained between 2001 and 2004.
