Kevin Kochiss

Kevin Kochiss has a diverse work experience starting from their current role as a Generalist Programmer at Redpill VR since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company starting from September 2021. In 2020, Kevin worked as a Virtual Reality Software Engineer, where they built a virtual shopping experience using Unreal Engine 4 and supported it with Django webserver, AWS S3, and RDS. Kevin also worked as a Freelance Software Developer during the same period. Before entering the software industry, Kevin worked as a Territory Manager for Hanna Instruments in Southern California, where they supported businesses for their chemical testing needs. Kevin also worked as an Inside Sales Representative at the same company. Kevin has experience in the healthcare and nutrition industry as well, where they worked as a Production Chemist at PolyPeptide Group and as a Quality Control Chemist at Vit-Best Nutrition. Additionally, they have worked as an Online Tutor at Knodemy Inc. and as an Undergraduate Researcher at both the UCSB Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and The University of Texas at El Paso. In their research roles, they gained experience in synthesizing and characterizing various chemical compounds, including peptides and conjugated poly-electrolytes, as well as working with perovskite solar cells. Kevin's work experience showcases their proficiency in programming, software development, chemical analysis, and research skills.

Kevin Kochiss attended UC Santa Barbara from 2013 to 2017, where they studied Chemistry. Kevin then obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Fullerton College in 2020. In addition to their formal education, Kevin obtained the Inbound Sales Certification from HubSpot Academy in July 2018.
