Crystal Seman

Crystal Seman is an experienced professional in hospitality and event management, currently serving as an Instructor at RRC Polytech in the School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts since January 2025. Prior to this role, Crystal held the position of Business Development Manager for Sports & Special Events at Economic Development Winnipeg from November 2018 to January 2025, where responsibilities included attracting sports and special events to boost overnight visitations to Winnipeg. Crystal also served in various capacities at Folklorama, including Director of Member and Festival Services, overseeing festival logistics and volunteer programs, and as an Associate Agency Producer, supporting talent promotion. Additionally, Crystal gained experience in revenue management and social media at Delta Hotels, and coordinated corporate events at Scootaround Inc. Crystal holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from RRC Polytech and a Hotel Revenue Management Certificate from Cornell University.
