Koert Liekelema

Koert Liekelema has a diverse work experience in various industries. Koert started their career in 1997 as a Project Manager in Application Research & Technical Service at DSM Savoury Ingredients. Koert then took on roles as a Senior Business Analyst and an Area Sales Manager. Later, they became the Sales Director EMEA at DSM Savoury Ingredients, where they managed key accounts and led sales and marketing efforts in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

In 2008, Koert joined ABF Ingredients as a Business Development Manager, focusing on developing new business opportunities. Koert then moved to Fonterra in 2010, where they held positions as the Director of Sourcing & Trading and the Managing Director of Fonterra Europe. In these roles, they implemented strategic changes and restructured the business in Europe.

After Fonterra, Koert became a co-owner of The Better For You Company in 2013, where they developed innovative beverage products. Koert later worked at Nature's Pride as a Sourcing Director and at Triodos Investment Management as a Senior Investment Manager.

In 2016, Koert served as the General Manager CHIC Fresh Europe a.i. at CHIC Group, where they built the European organization and prepared the launch of a new product. Koert also held a role as a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Stichting AAP, an exotic animal rescue center.

Most recently, in 2019, Koert worked at Delinuts as the Commercial Director and then the Managing Director. At Delinuts, they focused on developing the business and driving growth through innovative propositions.

Currently, Koert Liekelema serves as the CEO of Red River Commodities Inc, a company that processes and markets sunflower-derived products. Koert oversees the company's operations and aims to expand its product portfolio and market presence.
