Chris Freeman is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Solution Engineer at Red River since July 2023. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Cybersecurity Division Chief at the HQDA G2 Information Management Directorate within the US Army from April 2022 to July 2023. Chris has a robust background in cybersecurity, having served as Cybersecurity Branch Chief and Cybersecurity Officer at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command from March 2016 to April 2022, and as a Cybersecurity Officer/System Administrator at U.S. Army TACOM from September 2010 to March 2016. Additional experience includes roles at tiag® as a Unicenter Administrator/System Administrator, Regions Bank as a Monitoring Analyst, and the US Army as an Information Technology Specialist. Chris Freeman holds a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from Jacksonville State University.
