Areej Alqayem is an experienced event and hospitality manager with a background in coordinating diverse events and managing guest relations. Currently serving as an Event Manager at Red Sea Film Foundation since August 2023 and Guest Relations and Event Manager at Yellow Camel Studios, Areej has previously held roles at the same foundation and at the Saudi Motorsport Company, where responsibilities included vendor communications, F&B Management, venue operations, and client communication. Areej also has experience as a Floor Manager at Leylaty Group and as a Restaurant Manager at Da Bao, showcasing a strong foundation in customer service and staff management. Areej holds a degree from King AbdulAziz University, completed in 2021.

Through our Red Sea Labs, we support filmmakers from inception to production, celebrating them during our Festival. Our Red Sea Fund provided and continues to provide substantial grants to projects from the Arab World and Africa, spanning diverse genres and formats. During the Red Sea International Film Festival , guests can explore documentaries, features, and shorts from all over the world. The Red Sea Souk, a vibrant film market connecting industry professionals and fostering collaborations.
