Ken Nevers

Ken Nevers has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Ken is currently serving as the Chief Security Officer and Lead Tester at Red Seer Security since December 2022. In addition, Ken is a Co-Founder of Hack Space Con since January 2023. Previously, they worked as the Managing Partner and Goon at Hack Red Con from August 2022. Ken also has experience as a Content Creator and Instructor for the Penetration Testing Professional Course at StormWind Studios starting from January 2021.

Before that, Ken founded Red Sea Information Security, LLC in October 2019, where they worked as a Founder, Penetration Tester, Information Security Consultant, and Principal Penetration Tester. Ken provided services such as Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security Awareness Training, and Network Troubleshooting for clients.

Prior to their entrepreneurial pursuits, Ken worked for Goodwill Industries of the Valleys as a Security Analyst and Information Technology Support Specialist. Ken Nevers attended ECPI University from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science: Cyber and Network Security. Prior to that, they attended Virginia Tech from 1997 to 2004, although it is not specified if they completed a degree in Consumer Business Management.
