Tom Brazil has a long and varied work experience in the field of innovation and technology. Tom began their career in 1984 as a Performance Management & Capacity Planning Development with the United States Air Force. In 1990, they became a Senior Systems Analyst with Unisys. From 1993 to 2014, they worked with Systar as a Systar Fellow, BAM Innovation, and with Axway as a Fellow, Chief Architect & Analytics Product Manager. In 2016, they joined Integrated Computer Solutions. Inc. (ICS) as the Chief Digital & Innovation Officer. In 2017, they became the Chief Innovation Officer at RedTeam Engineering (RTEJV). In 2019, they took on the role of U.S. Delegate to ISO Technical Committee 279 for ISO 56000 Innovation Management Standards and Member Board Of Directors for IAOIP - INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INNOVATION PROFESSIONALS. In 2021, they became a Contributing Author for Future Fit Manifesto.
Tom Brazil has an education history that includes Information Science from Kent State University and the University of Maryland Asian Division. Tom also has several certifications, including AWS Partner: Foundations for Public Sector (Business) (Classroom) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022, AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021, AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021, CMI-Chief Innovation Officer from IAOIP - INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INNOVATION PROFESSIONALS in January 2020, CPI-Management of Innovation from International Association of Innovation Professionals in August 2017, CMMI V2.0 Building Development Excellence from CMMI® Institute in February 2020, and CMMI V2.0 Foundations and Capability from CMMI® Institute in February 2020.
