James Sartor

James Sartor has experience as a Data Scientist at red violet (NASDAQ: RDVT) since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Employee at the University of Oregon from September 2016 to March 2022, where they conducted computational research in physics, utilized programming languages such as C+, CUDA, Python, and MATLAB, and published first-author papers. James also served as the Graduate Student President and contributed to improving support for underrepresented students. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at Performance Logic, Inc. from November 2014 to May 2016, where they developed software in C++ and JavaScript, and worked on UI design, databases, and web forms.

James Sartor has a comprehensive education history. James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Auburn University between 2010 and 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree at the University of Oregon. From 2016 to 2021, they focused on Condensed Matter and Materials Physics during their PhD program. Additionally, they concurrently completed a PhD in Physics during the same time period at the University of Oregon.
