Stefan Poulsen

Stefan Poulsen has a background in data science and research. Stefan began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark in 2012, where they focused on research in their field. Stefan then moved on to Northwestern University in 2014, where they continued their research as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Voorhees research group, specializing in modeling and simulation of microstructural evolution. In 2017, Stefan joined Cogint as a Data Scientist, utilizing their skills in data analysis and research. Stefan continued their data science career at Red Violet, starting in 2018 as a Data Scientist and eventually being promoted to Senior Data Scientist in October 2019.

Stefan Poulsen attended The Data Incubator in 2017 and completed a program in Data Science. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Before their PhD, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the same institution, studying from 2004 to 2007. Stefan Poulsen also completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Stefan Poulsen also obtained multiple certifications in various data science and related topics. These certifications were acquired through online courses and institutions such as Coursera. Some of the certifications they obtained include "Applied Data Science with Python Specialization," "Applied Social Network Analysis in Python," "Applied Text Mining in Python," and "Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis (with Honors)."
