Laura Edgar began their work experience in 2007 as a waitress at Cattows Farm Tea Room. Laura then worked as an after-school assistant at Holmsdale Manor Nursery School from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, they worked as a bed maker/cleaner at Sglein Cyf. From 2012 to 2014, they were a reporter for the Coalville Times, where they conducted interviews and wrote news stories and feature articles.
