Philip Kneis is an experienced investment professional currently serving on the Investment Team at Redalpine since March 2023, focusing on seed and Series A investments in sectors such as Frontier, HardTech, Bio, and Engineering. In addition, Philip holds positions as Lead Investor and Board Observer at Apoha and ExpressionEdits. Previous engineering roles at Empa and Koa Switzerland AG provided valuable hands-on experience in materials research and food & climate technology. Philip’s leadership in ETH juniors enhanced project acquisition and business development, contributing to significant growth. Philip’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Process Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from ETH Zürich, as well as executive training in Future Food & Ag Leadership from INSEAD and a leadership program at the University of Oxford.
