Kiran Benet

Kiran Benet has an extensive work history in the field of human resources. Kiran worked as the Chief People Officer at Redberry Restaurants starting in February 2014. Prior to that, they were a Management Consultant (Ad Hoc) for various companies as a self-employed individual from August 2007 to February 2014. From November 2007 to September 2013, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. Before that, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at Cargojet from September 2001 to August 2007. Kiran was responsible for executing HR best practices, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and change management. Kiran Benet also has experience as a Manager of Human Resources at EGL Eagle Global Logistics and as a Human Resources Assistant (Interim HR Manager) at Maxxim Medical Canada Limited. Additionally, they worked as a Strategic Staffing and Diversity Specialist at Monsanto Company as part of a career edge internship from September 1996 to September 1997.

Kiran Benet has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology (Specialist in Labour Studies) from McMaster University, obtained from 1992 to 1996. They also have a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources from Humber College, obtained from 1996 to 2004. In 2011, Kiran obtained certificates in Strategic Workforce Management and Human Capital Strategist from the Human Capital Institute. They also have a certificate in Financial Management for HR Professionals from the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, obtained in 2010. Furthermore, Kiran completed the Advanced Program in HRM from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2007 and 2008.
