Robert'smost recent role as Chief Development Officer at Redberry Restaurants, a fast-growing franchisee company, involved overseeing the development of new restaurants under the BURGER KING® and Taco Bell brands. As Chief Financial Officer at the same company, they successfully completed the acquisition of Taco Bell stores and managed all financial functions.
Prior to Redberry Restaurants, Masson served as the Chief Financial Officer at dentalcorp, a private equity-backed dental practice network. In this role, they were responsible for financial strategy and operations, including raising significant funding from international investors, improving accounts receivable collections, and re-engineering procurement processes.
Masson also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Sleep Country Canada and The Second Cup Ltd., where they played a key role in managing financial functions and driving revenue growth. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Finance at Manchu Wok, where they successfully turned around the company's financial performance.
Earlier in their career, Masson gained valuable experience at IBM, Deloitte & Touche i-Intelligence, and Ernst & Young, where they specialized in financial auditing and consulting.

Robert Masson, CPA, CA has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Robert has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Auditing from the same institution. Additionally, they are a member of CPA Ontario, where they obtained their CPA, CA designation.
