RedBridge

The company started operations in 2003 with the vision of helping their customers to implement cost efficient IT environments based on Open Source Software. Open Source Software are available today in all parts of an IT structure, and there is nobody in the IT world who questions Open Source as a development or business model!Today they work indevelopment, infrastructure and the operation of customer solutions. This might be the development of new solutions or migrating an existing IT environment. Their goal is to use Open Source products (e.g. Linux, JBoss and PostgreSQL) but at the same time they take into account the existing environment where they interact with proprietary software such as Oracle, Microsoft, etc. that the customer would like to keep using. The new IT environment is a "mixsource" environment with both Open Source and Proprietary Software. They work with products that are at the technological forefront and where the Open Source world is heading this development. This could be, for example, mobile development and cloud services. They also use methods like SCRUM, ITIL and DevOps to streamline the processes.Over the company's years of operation they have developed a concept called Open Standard Application Platform (OSAP). In addition to helping companies and organisations to reduce their costs for hardware and software, they also introduce OSAP which is an architecture with Open Source that has implemented the open standards that have been developed. Guidelines are also linked to the products in the platform advising how to work with and implement the products in order that you as the customer, regardless of time, are able to replace a product/component in the architecture without this resulting in a costly migration.RedBridge employees have an average of nine years of experience in helping customers to install, configure, administer and manage their operating systems, application servers and databases. Customers range from those using several hundred Linux systems in their environments to other smaller operations with around a dozen. They actively train and certify their employees and participate in the development of the Open Source world.
