Jaya Prakash R. has a long and varied work experience. Jaya Prakash began their career in 1988 as Senior Director at Oracle Corporation. In 1999, they moved to Corio, Inc. as Vice President of Strategic Programs. In 2000, they took on the role of Vice President/General Manager at ArcSight, Inc. and in 2001 they became Vice President of Business Development at Vigilance, Inc. In 2003, they began working as a Consulting CEO and CTO, providing consulting services to an enterprise software development company specializing in security vulnerabilities management and a health care IT company specializing in predictive analytics for minimizing cardiac risk events. In 2005, they were appointed Chief Strategy Officer at Fox Technologies. In 2007, they co-founded Candor GRC and served as its CTO. In 2011, they became Chief Technology Officer at Flat Rock Systems. Finally, in 2013, they co-founded REDCap Cloud and VeracityID, Inc., where they serve as Co-founder, Board Member, and Technology Advisor.

Jaya Prakash R. completed a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University between 1982 and 1986. Jaya Prakash then attended Arizona State University from 1986 to 1988, though they did not receive a degree. In 1996, they earned an M.B.A in Technology Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
