Michael Murphy, MS, ACSM-CEP

Michael Murphy, MS, ACSM-CEP has been in the field of clinical research since 2013. Michael began their career as a Lead Exercise Physiologist at North Greenville Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation in 2013. In 2014, they became a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at The Regional Medical Center. From 2015 to 2019, they held three roles at Duke University, including Clinical Research Project Manager, Clinical Research Coordinator, and Clinical Exercise Physiologist. In 2019, they became a Clinical Research Coordinator at RENAL MEDICINE ASSOCIATES, LTD. In 2021, they joined REDCap Cloud as an Implementation Manager and Implementation Specialist.

Michael Murphy, MS, ACSM-CEP has an educational background that includes a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Eastern New Mexico University (2009 - 2011) and a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from New Mexico State University (2005 - 2009). Michael has also obtained certifications from LearnSQL.com (SQL, PostgreSQL JOINs, SQL Reporting, Window Functions in PostgreSQL, Common Functions in PostgreSQL, Creating Basic SQL Reports in PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE Commands, and SQL Basics in PostgreSQL) and W3Schools.com (SQL) in 2022, the American College of Sports Medicine (Clinical Exercise Physiologist) in 2014, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) in 2009, and the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) in 2014.
