Darin Altenburg has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as Supervising State Law Enforcement Agent, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Law Enforcement Training Coordinator at the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission since 1999. Responsibilities include conducting investigations for licensing approval related to gaming and disseminating intelligence on criminal activities within casinos. Since May 2021, Darin Altenburg has also been an Executive Board Member for the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center. Additional roles include serving as a Tier 2 Operator for REDCON1 and previously holding positions as Alternate Board Member for MOCIC, Chief of Police for Circleville Police Department, and Deputy Sheriff for Jackson County Sheriff's Department. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University and an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Highland Community College.
