Haley Patel is an incoming software engineer at Reddit, Inc., focusing on infrastructure since December 2024, following a software engineer internship at the same company in the infrastructure observability department. As Technical Director for the NJIT Women In Computing Society since May 2024, Haley has played a key role in mentoring women in technology and organizing events such as the GirlHacks Hackathon. Previous experience includes a software engineer co-op at Prudential Financial, internships at UPS and Plymouth Rock Assurance, and research assistant roles at the Albert Dorman Honors College and New Jersey Institute of Technology, where projects centered around machine learning and data integrity. Haley is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics at NJIT, expected to graduate in May 2025.
