Heather Cannady-Avery serves as the Sr. Director of Global HR Business Partnerships at Reddit, Inc. since March 2023, after holding various HR leadership roles at Amazon from June 2019 to March 2023. During tenure at Amazon, Heather oversaw the global HR function for the legal department, leading a team supporting thousands of legal professionals, and managed recruitment processes for diverse talent. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Recruiting at Brown Rudnick LLP and various recruiting management roles at Ropes & Gray LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Heather began a legal career as a law clerk in the federal judiciary following the completion of a J.D. at Harvard Law School and a B.A. from New York University.
