Paul Raff

Paul Raff is a highly experienced data scientist, currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Reddit, Inc. since August 2021, where the focus lies on Search and A/B Experimentation while providing leadership across the technical organization. Prior to Reddit, Paul held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Aetna, leading machine learning efforts for a Diabetes Care product. At Microsoft, experience included roles as Principal Program Manager Lead and Principal Data Scientist, contributing to data science and data engineering initiatives. Earlier career stages included positions as an Operations Research Scientist at Amazon, Graduate Assistant at Rutgers University, and various internships. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University and multiple degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, including MS in Mathematics and BS in both Mathematics and Computer Science.
