Yann Gregoire is an experienced engineering leader with a focus on safety and trust within technology. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Safety at Reddit, Inc. since April 2025, Yann leads teams that utilize AI and Machine Learning to safeguard users against harmful content. Prior roles include leading Trust & Safety teams at Instagram, and serving as VP of Engineering at Flatiron School where Yann oversaw the technology supporting online learning. Yann's background encompasses scaling engineering teams and developing innovative advertising technology at companies such as Managed by Q and dailymotion, as well as significant contributions to The New York Times in enhancing messaging systems. Yann holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from EPITA and is pursuing Executive Education in Negotiation Strategies at Columbia Business School.
