Gregory Mercer

Gregory Mercer is an experienced transportation and logistics professional with a strong background in supply chain management. Currently serving as the Director of Transportation and Fleet at Reddy Ice since January 2023, Gregory has previously held key roles including Operations Integration at Odeko and Vice President of Transportation and Logistics at SRS Distribution Inc., where full P&L ownership of the Builders Supply Logistics business was managed. As Supply Chain Director at Forterra, Inc., oversight of a $40M transportation spend and a team overseeing multiple projects was provided. Prior experience as North American Logistics Director at MAXAM involved directing transportation across North America and managing numerous facilities. Early in the career at PPG Industries, positions included Transportation Operations Manager and Manager of Final Mile Logistics, focusing on freight management and delivery efficiency. Gregory holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and an MBA with a concentration in International Business from Kent State University.
